Timeline

Why 1–4 weeks is real.

Traditional agencies take 6–20 weeks for the same scope. Not because custom design takes that long, but because 6 to 10 people hand files back and forth, with rounds of internal approval before anything reaches the client.

KRIBA & Co works differently. Strategy, design and building run in parallel, with no handoffs between a designer and a developer. The result: weeks instead of months, even for an everything-included build.

What 20 business days covers on the top tier: everything in the Authority Platform scope, written down before the deposit. Nothing in that scope gets cut to hit the date. Anything beyond the scope means agreeing a new date first.

What keeps the timeline intact: content and feedback arriving on schedule. Waiting on content is the most common cause of delays for every studio, KRIBA & Co included, so day one starts with a list of what's needed and when.

Questions

Build and care, answered.

Why pay $2,900 when Squarespace costs $25 a month?

Squarespace works for many, and about half of small businesses maintain their own site (Visual Objects, 2019). Owners hire KRIBA & Co for a custom site that looks like the business's own work, done in days instead of someday, and looked after once it's live.

Is a monthly plan needed, or is that where the real cost hides?

Every site KRIBA & Co builds is hosted by KRIBA & Co, so one of three SiteCare plans is required, and Maintenance at $100 a month is the minimum. Every monthly price is on this page, and anything outside the plan is quoted before any work starts.

Will someone still answer when something breaks?

Yes. Every site has at least Maintenance, so a broken page, a broken link or a security update is upkeep: KRIBA & Co fixes it and logs it without waiting for the owner's OK.

Five business days sounds like a template. Will it actually look like the business's own work?

Every site is designed for its business from scratch, with no templates or themes. The speed comes from running strategy, design and building together, with no handoffs.

Twenty business days for the top tier sounds too fast for a firm site. What gets cut?

Nothing in the written scope. The full scope is shared before the deposit, and the date holds when content and feedback arrive on time.

Does the owner own everything after launch?

Yes. Once the build is paid, the code, domain, content and accounts belong to the owner. Hosting and care run on a month-to-month SiteCare plan, and on leaving, the site can be hosted anywhere.

What happens with changes after launch?

Every site KRIBA & Co builds is hosted by KRIBA & Co, so one of three SiteCare plans is required. Maintenance ($100/mo): hosting, SSL, five automated daily checks, and bug fixes, broken-link fixes and security updates done by KRIBA & Co. Growth Insights ($500/mo) adds a monthly plain-English report on what to fix and why. SiteCare AI ($3,000/mo) adds up to 10 approved small improvements and up to 2 new pages on request each month, with every change logged. Work beyond routine upkeep is scoped and quoted first.

Is SiteCare a way to lock owners in?

No. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice, and the owner keeps the site, the code, the domain and the content. On cancelling, hosting by KRIBA & Co ends and the site can be hosted anywhere.

Is this actually custom, or is it templates?

Every site is built to spec: the business's brand, layout and content. AI speeds up the building and testing; it doesn't generate a site from a prompt.

kriba.co targets a lower accessibility level than client sites. Why trust the promise to clients?

Fair question. Client builds target WCAG 2.1 AA. kriba.co targets level A while it's being rebuilt, with a simpler accessible version that meets it, and the site says so rather than overstate it.

What tech are the sites built on?

Next.js, hosted on Vercel. Clean code that belongs to the owner once the build is paid, with no website-builder subscription.
